With 66 days, life starts...... (There is an old german pop-song, which says: with 66 years, life starts (retirement age)) During the last days of pregnancy mooving and cleaning herself became more and more difficult for Fiona. When she milled around, she had to lay her belly down in between to rebuild power. Last weekend, I went ahead to exert the lattice door into the door frame of my bedroom. With that additional door I already made positive experiences while our last babies grew up. Since monday, Fiona stayed separated in my bedroom while my son and I were outside, and since wednesday I took a few days off - just in case. On thursday - day 66 - around 11 o’clock, Fiona adjourned into the little cat basket in which we use to put the cat toys away which lie about. In there she gave birth to her first kitten at 11:05 h. Up to 12:26 they were complete. Then Bumblebee was allowed to chekc on the little family but she had to leave after a short greeting. Their total after birth weight was 394g and hence they were heavier than the quintuplet of the last litter. By the second weighing on 8th of april each kitten gained distinctly. When the kittens sleep, Fiona riscs short excursions and patols through all rooms and during the night she visits me in bed to cuddle for a moment before she returns to her offspring. The little voices are almost intensive and the kittens are pretty vivid. I think it will not take much time until they will take the whole room by storm.
